Happy Birthday Dear Ellie
I've written a brand-new story, Happy Birthday Dear Ellie, which is a sequel to my friend Ro Laren's story, Jordan Dolan's Dog Day Afternoon, which in turn is a sequel to my story, Angel the Babysitter. In Happy Birthday Dear Ellie, it is day two of Jordan's stay at the Madden residence. And it is also Ellie's birthday, sweet sixteen! And Jordan is privileged to spend Ellie's birthday with the Madden family, including Ellie and Angel and their parents... For the complete Ellie, there's also Ro Laren's story, Ellie Madden, or the Tenderness of Tigers, which can be read as sort of a prequel to the three babysitter stories; and the references, in Ro Laren's Angel Part 2: Angel's Games, to the hand games Angel and Ellie used to play when they were younger. Chapter 1. Jordan Dolan drifted awake in the dim light of the early morning. He lay there beneath a thin cotton blanket on the fold-out sleeper sofa in the Maddens' living room. The house was silent. "Come on Piplup you can do it!" Dawn cheered on her small water Pokémon with great intent as Piplup did it's best to get near a stinky and really sour Pokémon treat.
"Come on Blaziken! I know you can do it!" May cried out to her Pokémon as it tried to eat it as well. The treat was supposed to be really good but due to it's smell and long aftertaste of being sour it was hard for Pokémon to eat it despite wanting to.
As both women cheered on their Pokémon again they both rushed forward and in the end it was May's Blaziken that was able to snatch it up and eat it.
